This annual show presents the most extensive array of interior and exterior products for your new or ready home. Home-building & designer industries gather here annually to offer the latest in home design. 

Annual National Indian Pow Wow
Tribal dance contests, arts & crafts, cultural heritage demonstrations, teepees and Indian food will be part of this year’s annual National Championship Indian Pow Wow event. Parking is $3.00. 

Texas Rangers vs Seattle Mariners
Come out to Rangers Ballpark to enjoy the Texas Rangers vs Seattle Mariners. Games will be played on Friday & Saturday at 7:05 pm & Sunday at 2:05 pm. 

DFW FootVolley Open

Max’s latest retrospective features over 100 pieces of Max’s art, including original paintings, drawings, and limited-edition prints. The subject matter of the work ranges from the well known “Cosmic” images, to his famous iconic paintings, such as the “Statue of Liberty,” and “Flag with Heart” and the newest edition, the portrait of President Obama. Diez y Seis de Septiembre Celebration
This is a family festival with vendor exhibits, traditional Mexican food, children activities, performances by local folkloric groups, music and a special appearance by Ramon Vargas “El Aventurero”. On Saturday there will be a parade starting at Leonard and Ross streets by the Guadalupe Cathedral and will conclude at Historic Pike Park. Come learn about the Hispanic heritage and culture in Dallas! Saturday from 11 to 10pm and Sunday from 11 to 6 pm. 

In McKinney: 

Garret Art Gallery
The Garret Art Gallery will be featuring Watercolor Artist Nel Byrd from Plano. Nel is a nationally known watercolor artist. The show will run from September 12- October 9, 2009    

Lone Star 4-H Horse Club
Lone Star 4-H Horse Club is at Myers Park & Event Center on September 12, 2009 for a horse show. 

In Rockwall: 

Rockwall Rib Rub & Run
The Rockwall Rib Rub BBQ Cook‐Off will be held in the historic Downtown Square on Saturday, September 12, 2009. The Rib Rub kicks‐off 2nd Saturdays Downtown. Enjoy live music and great fare from some of downtown Rockwall’s best restaurants! A Poker Stroll through the Old Town Shoppes on the Square and children’s activities are also on tap! 

FlyFishing
Participants will learn how to cast with a fly rod, learn the basic knots needed to fly fish and discuss the different types of flies and where they might be used. You will also review the components of a health aquatic ecosystem and the equipment required to fish safely. 

Punt, Pass, & Kick
Be a part of a nation-wide competition! Participants punt the ball, throw the ball, and kick the ball off of a tee. Each skill is measured for distance and accuracy. Girls and boys compete separately and there are separate age divisions. 

In Grapevine: 

Vintners’ Auction
The Vintners’ Auction Classic is a premier event that will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 12. This event is being held at the Grapevine Convention Center 1209 S. Main St.  The live and silent auctions draw a large crowd of supporters each year. 

ItalianCarFest
The Italian Car Club of the Southwest is proud to once again present ItalianCarFest, the finest show of all-Italian vehicles in the Southwest. Please join us as we display 100 automobiles and two-wheelers at Nash Farm, a unique historic venue in the heart of Grapevine. 

In Plano: 

K-9 Kerpluck
Enjoy the last of the dogs days of summer.  Bring your dog and let him spend the morning splish-splashing around the outdoor shallow pool.  Humans are not allowed in the outdoor pool, and dogs are not allowed in the indoor pool during the event.
