Diez y Seis de Septiembre Celebration
This is a family festival with vendor exhibits, traditional Mexican food, children activities, performances by local folkloric groups, music and a special appearance by Ramon Vargas “El Aventurero”. On Saturday there will be a parade starting at Leonard and Ross streets by the Guadalupe Cathedral and will conclude at Historic Pike Park. FlyFishing
Participants will learn how to cast with a fly rod, learn the basic knots needed to fly fish and discuss the different types of flies and where they might be used. You will also review the components of a health aquatic ecosystem and the equipment required to fish safely.
Punt, Pass, & Kick
Be a part of a nation-wide competition! Participants punt the ball, throw the ball, and kick the ball off of a tee. Each skill is measured for distance and accuracy. Girls and boys compete separately and there are separate age divisions.

The Vintners’ Auction Classic is a premier event that will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 12. This event is being held at the Grapevine Convention Center 1209 S. Main St. The live and silent auctions draw a large crowd of supporters each year.
