In Dallas: 

The Global Artistry of Leo and Diane Dillon: A Retrpspective
This exhibit focuses on a selection from the Dillon’s collection that captures the global nature of their work. The beautiful illustrations depict a variety of cultural tales from African and Native American folktales to Asian and Scandinavian epics. 

A Sordid Comedy Affair
Starring: Caroline Rhea, Leslie Jordan and Del Shores. A Sordid Comedy Affair will make you laugh till it hurts, with “Noleta”, “Brother Boy”, “Ty” and the warped mind who created the sordid bunch on the same Majestic Dallas stage. 8 pm.

Wild West Cowboy Roundup
Western Heritage Festival in Historic Downtown Garland. Authentic chuck wagons, stagecoach rides, gunslingers, kids corral, street vendors. 10-7pm western swing street dance. 8 to 11 pm. 

TX Tough Bike Bash
This event will give the entire community a chance to have fun while raising money for Children’s. Participants will ride on a 6.2-mile, traffic-free bike route, starting in Victory Park and riding through downtown Dallas. Friends and family of all skill levels can cruise the untimed course for as many laps as they would like and enjoy food, fun and fitness activities at the finish in Victory Park.

In Frisco: 

Jaguar Owners Association Car Show
Jaguar admirers, enthusiasts, collectors, restorers and sellers from around the state of Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana will flock to Frisco for the 39th Annual Concours d’Elegance at Frisco Square. For more info call 972.985.0763.

In Grapevine: 

Grapefest
Make your way to historic Grapevine and uncork the fun for the largest wine festival in the Southwest. Wine lovers and connoisseurs from across the nation will sample award-winning Texas wines at the 23rd Annual GrapeFest on September 17, 18, 19 and 20. GrapeFest is the place to enjoy premium wines, great music, delectable foods and plenty of fun. It’s the perfect spot to eat, shop and be entertained! 

Grapevine Opry Matinees
One of the premier live country music shows in the nation, the Grapevine Opry has established a tradition of excellence seldom equaled for this type show in the country music industry. With one of the most acclaimed house bands in the Southwest, the high energy, spontaneous format of every show perfectly compliments the truly great music for which the venue is known. 

Tennis Classic
Be a spectator or a competitor in this fun and entertaining event held at Hilton DFW Lakes. Over 400 players are expected to compete in 24 divisions utilizing 34 courts throughout Grapevine and the surrounding communities. The 18th Annual Grapefest Tennis Classic is a USTA sanctioned event for this year! A current USTA membership will be required to enter.
