22nd Annual Video Fest
22nd Annual Video Fest presented by the Video Association of Dallas is the oldest and largest video film festival in the nation. Expect something different! For the second year in a row, the VideoFest will be presented thru I-Tunes. 

Rachmaninoff: Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini
After an absence of five years, accomplished British pianist Stephen Hough returns to Dallas to reprise his award-winning performance of Rachmaninoff’s memorable Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. Maestro van Zweden conducts this unforgettable program and draws on his expertise as a Bruckner aficionado to lead the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in the powerful Symphony No. 9. Thu-Sat @ 8pm; Sun @ 2:30pm. 

On Target For A Cure
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society invites you to their fourth annual for a day filled with food, fun and good old fashioned competition. 9 a.m. 

Port Twilight
In the mysterious town of Port Twilight a macabre story unfolds with serio-comic dimensions helped along with a little song, dance and video imagery. An ensemble cast contemplates the post 9/11 American landscape while portraying a multitude of revolving characters including a B Movie production company, a team of strange dancing scientists, a wild, homeless Rabbi and an out of control Golem. 

Reptile Fest
Amphibians will hop into the mix for the first time. This two-day event, sponsored by GEICO, explores the cool, cold-blooded world of snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs and other reptiles and amphibians presented by North Texas wildlife experts. There will be hands-on activities and seminars. 

NCA North Texas Classic
These Championships always prove to be team favorites. Enhanced staging and more participant gifts are just part of the reason why these competitions are so popular! You and your team will get to experience the unique nature of an NCA Championship and compete against other teams from your region and beyond. Tickets will be available to purchase during the event at the Dallas Convention Center.

Bunco Tournament
Come out and join us for the fun and excitement of playing Bunco for breast cancer.  There is a chance to win $1,000 worth of cash and prizes.

THESE THREE TENORS
These Three Tenors present a “Home For The Holidays” concert. You have never enjoyed a concert more and you (our patrons) insisted on their return. They will jump-start the holiday season by combining sacred and secular favorites with standard repertoire. Artists: Michael Crouse, Thomas Stallone and Rinaldo Toglia. 

Friendship Craft Show
There will be a variety of craft and at-home businesses represented in around 50 booths. There will also be door prizes and great shopping opportunities. 

Battle for Myers Landing
The North Texas History Center, in partnership with the Collin County Historical Commission presents the Battle for Myers Landing, A Civil War Reenactment Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 7-8, at Myers Park and Event Center. This event will portray North Texas circa 1860-1865 by bringing together hundreds of living history re-enactors to demonstrate: life on the home front, battles, and life in camp. Visitors will be able to take in the sights, sounds of cannons, cavalry, infantry, authentic period military camps, vendors, concerts by a Confederate brass band, and much more – all up close and personal on 165 acres of rolling land and trees in McKinney, Texas. 

Holiday Bazaar
McKinney ISD Partners in Education is hosting a Huge Holiday Bazaar with over 100 vendors featuring arts & crafts, unique gifts, decor & collectibles for all seasons. Ron Clark Summer academy drawing for McKinney ISD educators. Benefitting MISD Volunteer Organizations, MISD student support services and Rachel’s Challenge. 

Trinity Presbyterian Bazaar
Enjoy the “14TH ANNUAL” holiday bazaar at Trinity Presbyterian.  All items handmade including gifts, decorations, and clothing.  Lunch will be available from 11:00 – 1:00 which will include homemade soups and desserts.  There will be a quilt raffle.

This is a powerlifting event in which competitors challenge themselves to lift maximal weight in the squat, bench press and deadlift.  It’s a chance to see incredible feats of strength from men and women, the young and the young a heart.  Come support our champions and your friends.

Turkey Shoot
Come one, Come all to our annual Turkey Shoot. This event is a fun adult/child basketball shooting contest. A parent/guardian is paired up with their child and each will shoot fowl shots. There will be 3 rounds and each participant shoots 3 shots per round. Points are awarded for making a shot, hitting the rim/net/backboard, and even missing your shot! Age groups will consist of 4 & under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13 & older. Frozen turkeys will be awarded to the team with the most points in each age group.
