Parks & Recreation
The Grapevine Texas Parks and Recreation department provides a multitude of quality leisure activities to all residents of Grapevine on acres of beautiful Grapevine Real Estate. Resources include the Community Activities Center, the Senior Activities Center, 2 swimming pools, more than 26 parks, 22+ miles of trails, and over 700 acres of park land. The department also hosts several spring and summer camps which promise tons of fun for all Grapevine youngsters.

The Community Activities Center features a fitness room complete with weight machines, free weights, and cardio equipment, two full-size gyms, two racquetball courts, a personal trainer on staff, a game room, and an indoor walking/running track. Classes offered for preschool through senior adult ages at the CAC include martial arts, fitness, art, dance, theater, gymnastics, specialty camps, yoga, cooking, fencing, racquetball, crafts, and more.

The Senior Activities Center offers a wide variety of educational and fun programs. The center boasts a state-of-the-art computer training lab, transportation "assistance" for medical and dental appointments, numerous volunteer opportunities, Are You Okay? (telephone call program), Project Cell Phone - 911 (free cell phones, for emergency use only), a caring staff and tremendous City of Grapevine support.

There is never a shortage of events or activities in Grapevine. The city puts on several annual events and special activities throughout the year including free concerts for the whole family and even a chocolate festival!

Grapevine TX Sports
The city of Grapevine sponsors a whole host of adult and youth athletic leagues including basketball, indoor/outdoor volleyball, softball, flag football, wrestling, soccer, track, and tennis programs.

Grapevine is a great place to enjoy a round of golf on pristine Grapevine Real Estate. The renovated historic Palace Arts Center also offers a great venue for many performances and meetings in Grapevine.

Grapevine's Runway Theatre, Inc. is an all-volunteer theater company that has been bringing quality, live entertainment to the community for 25 years. Theater lovers can enjoy everything from classic plays to contemporary Broadway musicals during the Runway Theatre’s season.

Grapevine continues to gain a reputation as a Texas-sized shopper’s paradise! Along with several convenient retail centers, the city is also home to The Grapevine Towne Center and Grapevine Commons - both large multi-store shopping centers. Historic Downtown Grapevine also boasts many one-of-a-kind boutiques and specialty shops.

From April to October each year, shoppers visit Historic Downtown Grapevine Market and discover its unique merchants (featuring everything from handmade jewelry to fine art and home décor) in an open air European-Style shopping experience.
